Drink Driving:  Nutini got his break singing during a pop quiz at a Paisley concert.  He impressed Mike Baldwin, who became his manager and business partner.  Nutini continued in the English music world taking support spots for The Rolling Stones, Amy Winehouse and KT Tunstall.  Nutini also had a on and off relationship with model Teri Brogan, model Laura Whitmore and model Amber Anderson.  Besides his music and his dating life, Nutini made headlines with his admission of almost daily marijuana usage since the age of sixteen years.

Drink Driving:  In late February, 2017, Nutini was stopped, investigated and arrested for drink driving in Paisley.  He was stopped in collection with alleged road traffic offenses.  Nutini was alleged to be over the legal limit.
